We also feel we have an obligation to everyone we deal with to ensure they feel secure in the knowledge that those standards are maintained. At Osborn Humphreys we take great pride in our professional standards and are regulated by various reputable industry bodies to ensure a high level of consumer confidence and protection.

Osborn Humphreys are members of Propertymark. We follow the recommended 'Best Practice Guidelines' whilst maintaining a commercial approach to our business. We are active members, attending regular meetings and our client accounts are audited annually by Propertymark approved accountants. Propertmark offer robust protection for tenants and landlords alike.

NAEA - National Association of Estate Agents

You can be sure you are dealing with an experienced and professional agent, by choosing an NAEA member. Membership of the Association is through formal qualification ensuring that NAEA member agents have the knowledge and experience to guide you through your property transaction as smoothly and painlessly as possible. Operating under strict rules of conduct, members must meet certain standards relating to professional and ethical practice. Under the rules, agents are required to protect and promote their client's interests, while at all times acting in a fair and proper manner.

Tenancy Deposit Scheme

TDS

Since April 2007 we have worked with the TDS and they now hold all deposits in respect of Assured Shorthold tenancies. As such all tenants and landlords are afforded the benefit of the TDS deposit arbitration service where needed.

Property Ombudsman

As a member of The Property Ombudsman, we follow the code of practice for residential sales which has been approved by Trading Standards under the Consumer Codes Approval Scheme. We are also members for lettings related matters and can resolve disputes referred by landlords or tenants fairly via the Ombudsman. All members of staff are made familiar with the 'Code of Practice for Residential Estate Agents'.
