As one of the longest established estate agencies in the local area, Osborn Humphreys have been at the forefront of property marketing & management in Shoreham, Steyning and the surrounding areas since 1968. Originally David Humphreys & Co opened in premises next door to the Post Office in Brunswick Road, Shoreham. Due to unprecedented success they rapidly outgrew the office and within 3 years the business moved to larger premises over the road at 32/34 Brunswick Road where they remain to this day. In 1973 the company expanded by opening a further office in Steyning and was situated adjacent to the Law Courts. The business quickly established a sizeable market share.
Stuart Osborn, joined the Shoreham branch in 1976 and later went on to manage the Steyning office. In 1987 he was invited to join David as a partner in the business and the name was changed to Osborn Humphreys. David retired in 2002 and Stuart retired in 2019, at which point the company became part of the sucessful and well respected Harrison Brant estate agency, complimenting their two existing offices in Shoreham and Southwick.
Over the years, we've witnessed many changes to the ways in which property is bought, sold, let and rented. We've always embraced new ways of marketing property and were, in fact, the first estate agent in the area to develop our own website.
